What VeloPulse is, how it is priced, and who is responsible for what in payroll.
This Schedule is part of a larger agreement. It is incorporated into the VeloTech Master Subscription Agreement (the “Agreement”). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Agreement.
Where this Schedule conflicts with the Agreement, this Schedule governs, for VeloPulse only. Your subscription to another VeloTech product is governed by that product’s own schedule.
VeloPulse is a multi-tenant human-resources and payroll application for Canadian employers: employee records, self-service, time and attendance, leave, benefits administration, performance, recruiting, Canadian payroll, and reporting.
2.1 VeloPulse is priced per Active Employee per month. An Active Employee is an employee whose status in your account is active or on leave on any day of the billing month. An employee who leaves stops counting from the month after their last day; a rehired employee counts again from their return. Each subscription is billed for a minimum of five (5) Active Employees.
2.2 Users who are not employees in your account (for example, an outside accountant you invite) are not charged.
VeloPulse is not offered on a trial basis. §5 of the Agreement does not apply to it. We are happy to demonstrate VeloPulse using your own scenarios before you subscribe.

Annual pricing is about 12% below twelve monthly payments, rounded to whole dollars. Statutory compliance and tax screens are included on every plan and are never switched off for billing reasons. List prices apply at any size. Organizations with 500 or more Active Employees may ask for volume pricing by Order Form.
Prices are exclusive of tax. Currency is determined under §6.7 of the Agreement. The pricing in effect for you is the pricing you accepted at checkout or in your Order Form.
4.1 Support. Support is by email at support@velotechsys.ai during business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time, Monday to Friday, excluding Ontario statutory holidays). VeloTech aims to respond within one business day on Standard support and within the same business day on Priority support; Enterprise support is as set out in your Order Form. Response times are targets, not guarantees.
At the date of this Schedule, VeloPulse includes no generative AI features and is not metered in AI Credits, so sections 7 and 8.4 of the Agreement do not yet apply to VeloPulse and no usage overage is charged. AI features are planned. When one becomes available, we will update this Schedule and the Data Processing Agreement annex for VeloPulse under §19 of the Agreement, including whether it is metered, before it is offered to you.
6.1 What VeloPulse does. VeloPulse calculates gross pay, source deductions, and employer contributions from the data you enter, using the statutory rules it has registered for the year of each pay date. It prepares pay statements, remittance worksheets, bank payment files, and the data for T4 and RL-1 slips and Records of Employment, for you to review, approve, and submit.
6.2 What VeloPulse refuses rather than estimates. Where VeloPulse does not support a calculation, it refuses the run or the document and tells you why; it does not substitute an estimate. The current limits are stated in the Product. At the date of this Schedule they include:
6.3 Your responsibilities. You are the employer. You are responsible for:
6.4 Not advice. VeloPulse applies published statutory rules. It does not provide tax, legal, or employment advice.
Employers must keep payroll and employment records for years after a subscription ends. Payroll records generally must be kept for six years from the end of the tax year they relate to under the Income Tax Act, and Ontario’s Employment Standards Act, 2000 requires many employment records to be kept for three years, in some cases after the employee leaves. Other laws may require longer. These obligations are yours, not VeloTech’s.
After your subscription ends, we make your data available for export and then delete it on the timetable in §18 of the Agreement and §10 of the Data Processing Agreement. Once deleted, it cannot be recovered, including if a tax authority, an auditor, a former employee, or a court later asks you for it. Export your records before your subscription ends, or keep it active for as long as you need them in VeloPulse.
built 2026-10-15 (VeloCRM #293): cancelling requires the operator to confirm the customer was told to export, and the billing contact is emailed at cancellation and 7 days before the export window closes. Not yet true: nothing deletes a cancelled customer’s data in VeloPulse after the window — build that before publishing “deleted”
8.1 Where your billing address is in Quebec, a VeloPulse subscription is concluded only by a signed Order Form, not through online checkout. not yet enforced — checkout must refuse a Quebec billing address before this sentence is true
8.2 VeloPulse presents its employee-facing screens and documents in English and French. You remain responsible for your own obligations under the Charter of the French Language as an employer.
VeloPulse includes an optional attrition-risk score that assesses individual employees. It is off by default. An administrator may turn it on for your organization; before doing so you must inform your employees that it is used, as Quebec’s private-sector privacy Act (s. 8.1) requires where it applies. The score is a retention-support signal and must not be used as the basis of an adverse employment decision. PROFILE-1 is merged (#859) and on dev; it is not in a production release yet (v0.1.2 is still a draft). True once released to prod
The categories of personal information, data subjects, sub-processors, security measures, and retention terms for VeloPulse are set out in Annex C (VeloPulse) to the VeloTech Data Processing Agreement. The DPA is available on request — contact john@velotechsys.ai.
